FAITH VERSUS FEAR

The Power To Create or Destroy!


The power to create belongs to God, Satan only has the power to pervert or destroy.

Faith is a spiritual force from God and fear is a spiritual force from Satan or the devil. Some people don't believe that there is a devil. My thought is that there is no way that the organized evil in the world can be random. There is a mastermind behind the evil of this world that the Bible calls Satan. Faith is of God and fear is of Satan! Both are the exact opposite of each other and are a part of two spiritual laws at work.


LIFE AND DEATH
The two laws are found in Romans 8:2, "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death (in Satan)." A law is defined in Webster's dictionary as an established principle. You can depend on a law to work the same way every time. Once you understand that these two laws are exact opposites of each other then you'll be able to combat fear (Satan) successfully.
THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH IN SATAN includes THE CURSE: fear, sin, and death, sickness and disease, poverty, worry and anxiety, hate and demons and anything bad that happens in this planet.


THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE
THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS INCLUDES THE BLESSINGS: Faith, Life and Righteousness, Healing and Divine Health, Prosperity, The Peace of God, Love and Angelic Powers. The law of the Spirit of Life is good! It is the classical battle of good vs. evil.


SATAN CANNOT CREATE
Satan is a fallen angel. Like all angelic beings, he has no creative power. HE CANNOT CREATE: HE CAN ONLY DESTROY. He can only work with the things already created. He cannot go into the spirit world and bring in a force we have never heard of (1 Cor. 10: 13).
When Satan became the illegitimate step-father of mankind through Adam's high treason, he received Adam's authority over the spiritual laws in the earth. He did not put any spiritual law into motion; but he perverted the laws that were already there.
Let me illustrate; Sin was not a new law; it was righteousness perverted. Death was life perverted. Hate was love perverted. Fear was faith perverted. BUT THEN CAME CALVARY! Jesus made Himself subject to the law of sin and death. HE DEFEATED Satan at his own game. In Revelation 1:17-18 Jesus said, "Fear not; I am the first and the last; I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." SATAN HAS BEEN DETHRONED. He has no real authority. He cannot create, he only perverts what God has created.


SATAN'S AUTHORITY
How does Satan operate if his authority has been taken away? The same way the Mafia operates in the U.S. The Mafia had no legal right and authority to operate here, so they use lies, deception and intimidation. By deceiving a believer, he can steal the believer's authority and use it against him. The authority originally given to Adam belongs to the believer today but Satan uses fear to make the believer subservient to him. Fear is false evidence appearing real as we said yesterday. Satan's greatest power is his power of suggestion with the intent to deceive.
Satan challenges God's faith-giving promises with fear. He challenges God's Word with fear. The promises of God have been given to cover everything in existence to mankind. Chapter one in Second Peter says that everything pertaining to life and godliness is covered by the great and precious promises of the Word. If Satan can get you into an area of fear, he can keep you from operating on those promises.
